The moogle treasure trove the hunt for creation is coming Monday December 12th and will be running until the launch of patch 6.3 which has been announced to be early January 2023.

This is an event best known as one of the best farming techniques for many items which includes totally unique rewards like this namazu necklace, the ability to ride a ball of fluff and much much more.

Let’s actually explore these rewards, because some of them are very lucrative.

Namazu neckerchief is totally unique and so I’m personally going to be picking it up pretty fast.

Hallowed Kamuy fife is very very much something I wouldn’t get, it’s super easy to farm out from tsukiyomi extreme which people are probably always going to be running for the celestial kimono remnant which makes those amazingly desired pink glowy weapons.

Albino Krakul Horn is sellable on the marketboard for 500k a pop, so that’s a possible way to get gil.

Falcon Ignition Key is one of those rare items that pops up only during events like login campaigns or the moogle treasure trove so if you like it, best to grab it now I’d say.

Overzealous affirmations emote is about 200k on gilgamesh, less moogle tombstone to gil value than the albino krakul for sure. Ancient City Orchestrion roll is selling for 1 million gil and honestly is a pretty fantastic track.

Heartless orchestrion roll made my jaw drop because on Gilgamesh it’s around 1.4million a piece. I definitely can say I didn’t expect that.

The ballroom etiquette intelligent impressions is around 250k a piece.

Next up is a special item I do recommend everyone stock up on if at all possible, these special ostensibly special timeworn maps guarantee a portal to open once completed and so if you have any desire whatsoever at all to do treasure maps next patch which I always will recommend it as a source of gil I absolutely always will, I would grab a bunch of these. One of the top ticket items from moogle tombstone events for sure.

Ishgardian half barding is the next item. Eh.

Spotted Fedora and Spencer are items that may be very difficult to get these days, they come from a special fate from heavensward the coeurlregina which if you like these items I’d grant hem here I suspect it would be way way faster.

Now we’re going to go through a ton of mounts. The only two from this block I’d get is the drake horn and direwolf whistle if you don’t want to grind old beast tribe reputation from a realm reborn.

This brings us to the second major moogle tombstone ticket item. The MGP platinum card. These are worth their weight in gold because it allows you to totally skip any gold saucer grind especially if that isn’t your type of thing which for many people it isn’t which is okay! But this is an item I personally load up on cause it adds 50k MGP per platinum card. Very much worth it I do recommend.

From there we have a lot of housing items that I do like like the brick garden wall, indoor pond and the giant beaver burger set are actually favorites. Whether you want to get those though is another question, marketboard prices fluctuate on housing items a lot.

Next up is augmented body pieces, I’d skip you can get them with poetics.

Riding maps are alright I Guess for a realm reborn maps but honestly with flying not super necessary.

Then we get to triple triad cards, I wouldn’t buy any of these actually.

Wind-up meateater is a minion you can buy for 800 centurio seals or alternatively you can just get 7 moogle tomestones and get it. I do actually like this minion it’s very unique and kind of reminds me of a dark type pokemon. Very much a fan. I would recommend not spending that many centurio seals though…

Which ends on 2 beast tribe music scrolls which you can get if you like with the mounts don’t wanna grind those reputations. Then a magicked prism which after all the indigo stars I got from before… oh gosh I shudder.

So quick roundup, some of these items are extremely lucrative on the marketboard for straight up gil selling like the emotes and krakul mount, others are building up maps to use next patch for way way way even more a lot more gil than that, and then MGP farming with a ton of goodies sprinkled in.
