Gearing is Pointless in FFXIV

Gearing is pointless in Final Fantasy XIV as someone who has played for a decade I've seen gear come and go, I've seen content creators come and go, I've had friends I loved to raid with play with me and then never log in again.

Gearing is factually pointless, the treadmill is always moving forward and there will always be something shiny and new at the end in Final Fantasy XIV. Patch 6.2 is bringing in a completely new raid tier and gear and so yeah let's talk about gearing in FFXIV and what that's all about.
