The Problems with Ultima Thule -- FFXIV Discussion (ENDWALKER SPOILERS)

As much as I loved Endwalker, I felt I had a lot to say about Ultima Thule. While the area in the game was amazing, I feel like the story falls flat for a number of different reasons, which I discuss in this video.

Obviously this is just my personal take on the story, but I definitely tried to judge these scenes from multiple standpoints concerning their narrative purpose and emotional impact, and I find them lacking for the reasons outlined in the video. If you enjoyed the story yourself, that's great! These are just my thoughts.
