Patch 6.15 patch notes have been posted and that means it’s time for me to do a condensed summary video of all the juciest details.

So first thing is Chronicles of a new Era quests have been added that are Omega Beyond the Rift. So that name chronicles of a new era is actually very important, that leads us to know that omega beyond the rift actually is going to be related to the new extreme trial series that we’re going to be getting in patch 6.2 and beyond-- which from the story alone you can only guess what kind of alien world shenanigans we’re going to get up to.

So a lot of us were curious what the rest of the extreme trial series was going to be and this will be it! Same pattern as chronicles of a new era the four lords for stormblood, and chronicles of a new era the sorrow of werlyt that brought us gundam realness! Oh yeah and heavensward the warring triad. Point is, this is gonna be our extreme trial series or I’d be massively shocked.


Not going to lie, this actually has me SUPER hyped. Bring this on. Robots are my aesthetic. I live!

So where you start omega beyond the first is the quest a heartless hypothesis in old sharlayan x 10.9 y 14.3 speaking with the bespectacled technician. Prerequisites are to finish Endwalker and the quest A dream in flight.


Next up is new side story missions with tataru’s grand endeavor starting quest i small business big dreams speaking with Mehdjina in Old Sharlayan x11.8 y 9.8.

And then further hildibrand adventures begins with the sleeping gentleman quest that you get from the excitable youth in radz at han x 11.8 y 11.2.

Brand new custom deliveries have also been added which begins with Alisaie and Alphinaud’s mother’s quest of mothers and merchants in old sharlayan x12.6 y9.7 speaking with the well-dressed attendant. Pre-requieites for this are to finish endwalker quest and the quest go west, craftsman.

Next up is the brand new beast tribe quests with the Arkasodara people! These are going to be combat classes like the pixie beast tribe was in shadowbringers and likely be a fantastic source of experience for leveling jobs.

This starts off with the hippos born to run quest in thavnair x25.3 and y 31.2 speaking with Kancana. To unlock this you need to finish the Endwalker quest and then the side storyu missions a budding adventure.

Now a bit of details here on what a budding adventure is, this is side story missions in the thavnair region in particular there are two 4 part quest chains that begin with the quest The Steppe Chile in Thavnair x 25.6 and y 36.1 and then Whats in a parent at thavnair x 29.2 and y 15.3. Complete those 8 quests and you will eventually get the quest A budding adventure from Yezahn at x 29.6 and y 17.2 and there you go unlock requirements done!

Likewise these follow the same structure as all other beast tribe quests and 3 can be done per day outside of a rank up where you can do another 3 same as usual. The beast tribe location is specifically thavnair x20.4 and y28.4.

Next up is housing items and there are a bunch of furnishings added from the housing contest. See I initially was like wait what but I think some of these have potential. My favorite is the jumping outdoor thing. I think that will be neat.
